Speech Pathology

Upon admission, every patient is screened for speech, language, hearing, cognitive and swallowing difficulties. When indicated, patients receive restorative speech therapy from a licensed and certified speech pathologist. We offer speech therapy up to five days a week for patients who require intensive speech therapy.

We treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, voice and swallowing disorders. Our goal is to help patients communicate more effectively. For patients on restorative swallow therapy, our objective is to improve their swallowing ability so they can eat and drink safely. We work on weaning patients off feeding tubes so they are able to eat and drink normally.
