Rehabilitation

At Forest View, we have two dedicated units for short term rehabilitation. Our Therapy Suite is outfitted with the newest state-of-the-art equipment and takes advantage of all the latest technological advances. We provide our patients with highly effective therapy techniques in a caring, warm atmosphere. Patients usually return home after just 3-4 weeks!

Penthouse Therapy Suite

The Suite, where we provide one-to-one Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy, is located in our penthouse, which adjoins our beautiful rooftop patio. When the weather is nice, our residents can receive therapy outdoors. We also have whirlpools, which more then just promoting circulation, and being therapeutic for the skin also helps patients relax (comfort being an integral part of any rehab program).

Patient Rooms

Our rooms are bright, beautifully appointed, and have fully adjustable electric beds. Each room has phone capabilities, and free cable television with English, Russian, and Spanish programming.

Comprehensive Care Plan

When a patient is admitted to Forest View, the patient and/or the family meets with a team of therapists, nurses, and social workers to develop a Comprehensive Care Plan. Using this interdisciplinary approach, we make sure that each individual receives the personalized care he or she needs, and we then use this care plan to guide the therapy we provide to each patient.

Patients

Our patients include; CVA (stroke), cardiac, and orthopedic patients, including those recovering from hip fractures, shoulder fractures, hip replacements, and knee replacements, as well as amputees.

Staff

We make every effort to ensure our patients comfort and ability to communicate their needs. Our experienced, pleasant rehab staff includes over 15 therapists, assistants, and aides, some of whom have been practicing for over 20 years. We speak a wide variety of languages, including Russian and Spanish. Together, our team helps each patient achieve his or her goal of recovering strengths and returning home.
