Forest View Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing

Located in Forest Hills, NY, Forest View Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is a 160-bed facility for both short and long-term patients. The personal care and warmth that our experienced staff provides is second-to-none. We pride ourselves on the fact that after a short stay at Forest View most of our patients return to their homes or to a lower level of care. In fact, the average stay of orthopedic patients in our rehab unit is just 3 weeks!

In addition to our short and long term care programs we also offer specialized wound care, pain management, and hospice programs. We are a licensed skilled nursing facility with 24-hour comprehensive nursing care, attending physicians at the facility every day, and a wide range of MD specialists always on call.

Amenities

We work hard to create a warm, dynamic environment for our patients with a variety of social, cultural, and religious services to make our residents comfortable and allow them to continue their former lifestyle. We provide barber and beauty parlor services, gourmet meals, resident council, resident newspaper, a variety of entertainment options, discussion groups, and family holiday dinners. Our rooms are bright, eye-pleasing and feature electric beds, easy chairs, phones, and cable televisions.

Model Facility

Our facility’s excellent reputation has made us a model facility where students, organizations, and groups come to observe our staff and residents and learn about aging, rehabilitation centers, and health careers. We maintain a close link with our community and community volunteers enrich our residents’ lives through visits and programs.

Location

Forest View is located right off Queens Boulevard, and is accessible by all forms of public transportation, as well as close to all the major highways. Our close proximity to all area hospitals allows for almost immediate access to critical care when needed. We are located in a safe residential area with on and off street parking available.
